Accomplishments for September 2002
----------------------------------
- Updated the "Request for EAST Support" form, now at version 1.2,
   to reflect some lessons learned by using the form to debrief
   Steve Turner about the Events Calendar application.

- Updated the "Enterprise Application Software Standards," now at
   version 1.2, to better describe the process of transitioning
   an application to EAST.

- Participated in the (ongoing) analysis phase of the Parking
   Web Delivery project.

- Began transitioning the Events Calendar application to EAST.
   + Met with Steve Turner to discuss transition issues.
   + Researched the application.

- The basic elements of a revenue model for EAST took shape,
   thanks largely to the efforts of Lorraine Rappaport.

- TNS:
   + Fixed 30 broken service orders.

   + Produced 7 ad-hoc reports.

   + Made 1 new client installation.

   + Modified the source code of loading trafficlog files to database
     due to the change of format.

   + Modified the source code of printing label through ICE9 due to the
     new label sheets.

   + Did globally updating wire closets twice.

   + Worked on the enhancement for TNS billing to accept credit charge.

   + Wrote initial draft of documentation.

   + Identified potential backup maintainer.

- Coeus:
   + Developed and posted workaround for a bug that was occurring for
     schools using PB7.  (MIT uses PB5.)

   + Preliminary testing of Coeus on Mac OS X.

- SAPweb:
   + Assisted with fixing the "Please wait" bug when submitting
     requisitions.

   + Identified potential backup maintainer.

   + Documentation underway.


Goals for October 2002
------------------------
- Complete a draft revenue model for EAST.

- Update EAST web pages
   + to reflect the evolving revenue model
   + to create a new page describing the process of requesting
     EAST support separate from the "Enterprise Application
     Software Standards" page.

- Complete transitioning the Events Calendar application into EAST.

- Complete or revise drafts of documentation for EAST applications.

- Finish the enhancement for TNS billing to accept credit charge
   in time for end-of-month billing (postponed from September).


Next Community Milestone
------------------------
- Transition an application from its developer to EAST.
