Accomplishments Past Period:

* Continued daily maintenance and operation of NetBackup on the E40 systems.
* Aggressively tracked netbackup issues - daily update of the netbackup
issue list.
* Worked on bare-metal restore procedure documentation
* Worked with Asst, HP and Veritas to resolve the open issues with the OS
and the E40 SAN.
- Swapped the ISL connection between 2 E40 SAN switches as recommended
by HP Field services.
- Raised trace level for the FCTCs
* Worked with the Veritas Support to resolve the open issues with the
Netbackup shared storage option.
- Raised the trace level for the Nebackup processes
- Resolved drive reservation problem - re-designed tape drive cleanning
strategy
Goals for the Coming Periods:

* Continue the work with Asst, HP and Veritas to resolve the open issues
with the OS and the E40 SAN.
* Continue the work with the Veritas Support to resolve the open issues
with the Netbackup shared storage option.
* Complete bare-metal restore procedure documentation
* Document restore test plan including various restore scenarios and
detailed procedures.
* Complete the W91 roll out plan.
* Get buy-in from key stakeholders (ASST, R3-Admin, DOST) on the E40
implementation.
* Start the W91 implementation
* Update project documentation and web pages.
