Project Name: Online Credit Card Processing - ClearCommerce
Submitted By: Lorraine Rappaport
Report Date: July 10, 2002
Project URL: http://web.mit.edu/is/delivery/ccard
Accomplishments Past Period:
- Enhanced order management servlet to provide greater flexibility to
define roles. This modification allows us to differentiate the tasks that
users can perform when handling orders. Users may now be set up to perform
any one or more of the following tasks: fulfill, void, credit.
- Rolled out new servlets for General Receivables
- Worked with Career Fair to revamp their ShopSite store for this
year. Tied their ShopSite store in with ClearCommerce. The store went
live yesterday.
- Continued work on building API for use by merchants who need to tie
ClearCommerce in with a web site/shopping basket, but do not need a catalog
such as ShopSite.
- Began discussions with Admissions for using OMARS for processing
admissions applications.
- Installed patches to new Apache vulnerability
Goals for Next Period:
- Meet with Admissions to collect their requirements and set up store.
- Test API.
- Support Career Fair and other existing merchants, as needed.
Next Community Milestone:
- Admissions is likely to be added to the pilot in the next month or so.
