Accomplishments this period:
- Received new Linux slave machines; we plan to deploy them after
Athena 9.1 is released, since there is no immediate specific
need for them.
- Received Sun Netra X1 servers to replace the current Ultra 5
slaves for the fall; these will also be deployed after Athena 9.1
is released.
- Completed code changes for Athena 9.1; verified that a 9.0 master
works with a 9.1 slave.
- Completed draft of disaster recovery document.
- Registered a user for the summer (graduate thesis); spring term
usage remained light.
- Made progress on sign-up forms.
- Made progress on documentation.
Goals for next period:
- Complete sign-up forms; review with support.
- Complete update of documentation for roll-out.
- More testing under Athena 9.1.
Next community milestone:
- Deploy new slaves, and official roll-out (summer).
