Accomplishments Past Period:
- Continued supporting Alumni and General Receivables live stores. CAO is
working with Alumni and the Treasurer's Office to streamline settlements
and reconciliations for alumni gifts. Alumni has been helpful in
identifying some procedural issues for us to sort through.
- Continued testing of order management and reporting servlets. Work is
nearly complete.
- Met with Document Services to demonstrate order entry and order management.
- Received inquiries from Admissions and the Libraries' Retrospective
Collections. Started conversations with Admissions.
- Found a few more bugs in ClearCommerce's software and/or
documentation. Sigh.
Goals for Next Period:
- Complete testing of order management and reporting servlets. Make minor
tweaks to the point-of-sale servlet as needed.
- Revisit and enhance merchant documentation.
- Fine-tune settlement and reconciliation processes.
- Continue working with Document Services. Support their testing and move
them to production at their pace.
- Continue discussions with Admissions and Libraries Retrospective
Collections. Both are looking for solutions by fall term.
Next Community Milestone:
- It looks very feasible that we will be able to add any/all of Admissions,
Collections, and Document Services to the pilot within the next few months.
