Accomplishments in April
- Finalized team membership for Core Project Team, defined roles and scheduled
weekly meetings for every Wednesday from 1-2:30.
- Outlined the membership for the Advisory Council.
- Held Team kick off meeting on April 5 to outline direction/vision of the
project, roles of the Sponsors and data gathering.
- Worked with Barrett Communications to gather info for Scope document.
- Worked with Barrett to schedule information gathering interviews and
focus groups.
- Developed survey for info gathering from staff and customers.
Goals for May
- Finalize membership on the Advisory Council.
- Hold Focus group sessions and individual interviews.
- Release survey, collect and analyze feedback.
- Finalize scope document.
- Finalize IS Web site map.
- Set dates for design presentations.
Issues/Learnings (ongoing)
- Project is very large based on size of Web site
- There will need to be many sub-teams to keep critical check-ins for usability
testing, quality assurance and information architecture throughout
the project
Team Dynamics
- Team is still ramping up.
- Need to keep energy levels up.
- Need to continue more thinking outside the box on design and site map.
