This month's accomplishments (April, 2003)
=B7 EHS
o Completed implementation of EHS labs data in the Data=20
Warehouse.
o Finalize conceptual model of EHS training data.
o Begin prototype of EHS training data.
o Completed required DW database maintenance for EHS=
reporting.
=B7 Continued work with the Project Intersections Team..
=B7 Continue work on SAP/HR.
o Complete verification of the HR Conceptual data model(s).
o Begin design of the DW HR reporting model(s)/data stars.
o Implemented new functionality in extracting SAP data:=20
encrypting (pgp)
files before they are ftp'd from the SAP server to the=20
warehouse. This
functionality is critical for the HR implementation. Mark=
=20
Sprague and
David Rosenberg worked on this on the FSS side.
o Worked with FSS HR team to help them test the new=20
enterprise structure
(to be implemented in SAP production on May 19th).=20
Modified warehouse
structures and programs, and loaded data from SAP test=20
server into the
test warehouse, so that the HR team can do the testing.
o Completed writing and testing shell scripts to monitor=20
Cyborg personnel
load and Krb mapping load.
o Begin working on HR reporting authorizations.
=B7 Continue working on joining HR data and "Who is Teaching What=
data"=20
for
Deans & Provost to answer questions about faculty teaching loads.
=B7 Worked with CAO and FSS assisting in SAP integration testing:=
loaded
data into the test warehouse for CAO testing.
=B7 Continue working with Giri S. on the web application to display=20
employees' MIT card pictures.

o Deliver 1-day training class for AAUDE at COFFEE=20
Conference in Chicago.
o Complete AAUDE release II analysis, budget, and=20
implementation plans.
o Implemented and loaded University of Delaware survey data=

for teaching load and expenditures.
o Implemented and loaded Faculty Profile by CIP.
o Refreshed "2000 Edition" CIP data.
o Cleaned up the basic CIP table which includes all CIP=20
codes used in AAUDE.
o Loaded 2002-2003 AAUP Faculty Salary data.
o Started analysis work on IPEDS Institution Characteristics=

data.
o Attended Annual Conference at Ohio State University (April=

29th-May1st).
o Prepared and deliver Brio 6 training class for AAUDE at=20
Conference in Ohio.

=B7 Worked with ASST to set up and configure 2 second Warehouse Web=
Server.
