Accomplishments Past Period:
Minuteman Press
- Minuteman's catalog is nearly done. Only cosmetic fixes remain.
- Continued working with Minuteman's software provider, Printable
Technologies to integrate the catalog with ECAT. Work is progressing smoothly.
Apple:
- Granted Apple an extension on their RFP response.
- Conducted conference call with Apple's IS&T group to scope out
integration details.
FW Webb
- Met with Facilities and Procurement to begin discussions about possible
ECAT partnership with FW Webb for Facilities
- Began conversations with FW Webb about technical requirements
Goals for next period:
Minuteman Press:
- Complete integration work and testing.
Apple:
- We hope to receive Apple's RFP response this month.
FW Webb:
- Continue discussions.
Next Community Milestone:
- Pilot Minuteman Press in late March. The Publishing Services Bureau is
planning an MIT Home Page spotlight to announce the new MIT graphic
identity, publicize PSB services, and introduce Minuteman Press' catalog on
April 8.
