THE MELBOURNE FRINGE FESTIVAL
ChaosMusic was one of the major sponsors of the Sule (pronounced Soo-
ley Stage), which brought the percussive beats of South American and
African rhythms together on the stage for six hours of fabulous music.
Artists included Brazilian percussion with Tumbarumba; Flamenco guitar
and dance with Arte Kanela; middle eastern belly dancing with The
Seventh Veil; music of the Andes with Inka Marka; West African drum and
dance with Colors of Pulse; Global Grooves with Systa BB; Indian fusion
with Dya Singh; with the finally being the supreme Latin jazz big band
Up Grupo Cabrones.
Congratulations to the artist and the organisers. The Sule stage was a
feature of the Fringe opening and should become and institution in the
future.
