IOW, he was prepared for the tactics of organizations like
DataBasix.com after his encounter with Scientology.

Hysteria? It sounds like he was yanking your chain, after your
preposterous claims. Remember, he already KNEW that he didn't have
the remailer logs you were demanding of him. So there was no need
for "hysteria", nor did I see any in evidence from his post. He was
trying to see just how low you'd stoop to get those logs (for
purposes you still have not disclosed), and I guess he found out,
didn't he?

It's clever that the spambait itself appeared right on cue after
Gary Burnore got pissed with Jeff Burchell for not turning over all
of his logs to you and Gary Burnore.

Call us all "Anonymous Assholes" -- yeah, that's the ticket. Sure
way to win sympathy for your never-ending litany of complaints and
accusations.

Start calling people "assholes" and guess what? They stop
cooperating with you!

No, really?

So? Of what significance is it that he/she was a "remailer user",
versus a "driver of a Ford", or whatever?

How? Do you mean the person who merely posted the InterNIC
registration data for the Databasix.com domain? Are you really
afraid of a person supposedly trying to kill you who couldn't even
figure out how to do a simple "whois" request? BTW, I read the post
in question, and it's not that he threatened anyone, just that you
chose to read it in a paranoid fashion.

Also, the person who supposedly made the "threats" was NOT posting
anonymously! Has he been reported to the authorities? Have they
arrested him? Do they take his threat seriously?

More accusations -- no proof.

"Probably one"? Probably? You mean you're GUESSING?

Or their haters who deliberately perpetrate "designer abuse" to
accomplish that same end. Who would have the greater motive to
close down a remailer? A person who actually USES it, or someone
who has no use at all for them, and wants to see them shut down?

People who treat others that way tend to receive similar treatment
themselves.

When Gary was making a similar rant a couple of years ago, he was
invited to start his own remailer, if he thought he coudl do a
better job of running one. Has he done so?

"Those who are really the problem"? And who might those be? Please
name names and provide supporting evidence for your accusations?

Otherwise, your rant will be written off as just another Burnorian
F.U.D. campaign.
