Hettinga's Law of Universal Jurisdiction: The internet makes
everything illegal, everywhere, all the time. Of course, that won't
stop progress much, any more than theocratic feudalism could stop a
money economy, firearms, and the advent of the nation-state.

RAH

Location of server irrelevant in UK.

Wherever Your Servers Are, You're Here
UK case may set precedent.....

Graham Waddon, a 29-year-old businessman from Surrey, England was given
an 18-month suspended sentence for running the UK's largest porn
operation from servers located in America. Until now, it was unclear
whether individuals could be prosecuted for distributing pornography if
their servers were outside the UK. In a landmark ruling Judge
Christopher Hardy ruled the images were uploaded from the UK and were
therefore subject to British law.
