Call me crazy.

I guess I should be grateful that our masters have decided to
pick someone to re-investigate. Why don't I trust their choice?

The smells like a big preemption. After watching a couple decades
of "investigations" I can predict right now what they will find.

(1) They will throw some flunky to the dogs. That person will be
punished by a reprimand and a demotion. Too strong an action will
prompt that person to rat out exactly who is responsible.

(2) There will be much hang wringing and "this shall never happen
again" blah blah blah.

(3) Janet Reno will remain in office. Louis Freeh will remain in
office. No buck stops here. Besides, POTUS will never let Janet
go because she protects him from treason charges.

(4) BATF and FBI will have their budgets increased and everyone
else but the scapegoat will be promoted.

(5) Combatants flying in hueys over the church and firing blindly
with machine guns will never be identified. The wisdom of using
tanks to detroy a wooden structure in high winds will never be
questioned. The actual reason for them being there will never
be officially rooted out. Was it child abuse (under the BATF)?
Was it the automatic weapons? Even if true, they were a class
3 dealer. If they were not they would owe $200. Posse comitatus
will never be questioned. "We said they were making methamphetamine.
Isn't our word good enough."

No matter what they come up with, short of firing/prosecuting
Reno et al and releasing the Waco political prisoners, its too
little, too late.
