Hi,
Check out,
Indistinguishable from magic
Robert L. Forward
ISBN 0-671-876867-4
$5.99 US
Dr. Forward is the (co)inventor of many of the topics that were brought up
recently. He discusses many of the technical issues as well as operational
characteristics. He also covers the reasons such devices aren't currently
being implimented. The nice thing is each chapter has a listing of original
source documents at the end.
You can normaly find this book in the sci-fi section, for some reason they
put it in Dr. Forwards section with his straight sci-fi works.
If you would like more up to date info go to google.com and search on his
name. His homepage has a current email address.
