Okey. There are lots of folks who operate networks. Some are providers, others
are enterprise networks. Again, surely there can be some standard for
what is meaningful that folks could agree on. You mention "uptime" as one
possible parameter. You seems to discount total traffic or speed as being
important. Don't let me put words in your mouth, Rick. I really think it is
important to develop some general set of measurements that customers and
providers alike could use to compare the relative performance of networks
be they ALTERNET or the Texas Medical Center network.
