I am curious about MEANINGFUL data as Rick defines it. Is there some RFC that
defines MEANINGFUL data? If not, how can we agree on what MEANINGFUL is? I know
there are RFCs on meansuring things that Scott Bradner uses to talk about
router performance. Is there such standards for provider network performance?
If not, why? Seems that it would be a good thing for the providers to agree on
providing with all these changes coming sometime in the next year or so. Maybe
we need some kind of PIRG to do this kind of work.
