Here's an interesting offer from OBS. If Andy Warhol were around, he might
well view the net as another vehicle for fame. (I imagine the references
to 1993 below should read 1994).

January 5, 1993: OBS@marketplace.com. Available through gopher,
find billable online texts in Voyager, HTML, and plain ASCII
files (through gopher+). Shelf space is limitless, and many
millions of readers worldwide can freely browse the OBS site.
Maybe something you've written belongs at the OBS. If people
want to read your thoughts, they can do so with privacy and
ease, electronically, and you might gain some income from the
transaction so you can write some more. We sell on consignment.
Specs for submissions: usable electronic files (HTML preferred);
l MB size limit; this is your original work and you own the worldwide
electronic rights; you want to be part of the World Wide Web.
Submit a proposal *one screen in length* to OBS@marketplace.com
explaining who you are (w/appropriate credentials & refs), and who your
projected audience might be. We'll split the net 50/50; all decisions
