"MCI Communications of Washington said it will take a one-time charge of as
much as $150 million in the fourth quarter to pay for what it described as
a strategic realignment of its business. MCI is taking the charge to
cover consolidation costs associated with the streamlining of its
facilities and the relocation of certain operations to cheaper areas."
