Karl,
I am as much a capitalist as you are but, I object to seeing my tax dollars
fund ANS - no matter which hat they wear (non-profit or profit). If the
company had to stand on its own without financial aid where would they be ?
Just look at the sales history and we both know where. Until someone says
STOP - these sky high checks will continue & they will defend them til their
parachutes open. ANS does not have enough revenue from its non-gov't base
to support the network operation. So take away the financial aid and what a
mess. I don't think they care. When this deal ends they will go their ways
and find another. Sort of like being in college forever. In the real world
the expect results.
