Here we go again. ANS says Gordon Cook is a nut, so ANS is right ?
Get this statement from Ittai H.

God, this takes balls Ittai ! How about shame on self- important people
like you who are afraid Gordon Cook might just do something to stop that
nice fat paycheck you get. ANS sales suck - I know the language is strong
but, have you no shame ? Did anyone in ANS management take a large pay cut
to show the shame in poor sales ? Did anyone in management get fired ? NO !
Not in a New York minute. You place a spin on failure and make it look like
you expected to lose money and that makes it ok.
I feel like Rush L. at this point.. here is another quote.

Your remark about the shuttle is true. There is waste in alot of gov't programs.
Everyone has their cause and fight's their own fight. Gordon Cook has chosen
the Internet. I for one am curious why any FOIA requests are required for
Mr Cook to get info ? The policy has been for years to try and avoid a FOIA
request unless there is no other way of dealing with the matter. Cook seems
to have routine/basic - learning questions. Sooner than later he can just go
outside the NSF and demand the info. If the contract is going to be extended
just tell the man. Heck he can always protest the extension.
Everytime I see ANS come back at Cook with a blast its centered around
remarks that make Cook seem like he is on a witch hunt. Thats just bull.
He is interested in how things have evolved, why the gov't did what it
did with ANS and the Business side of the company among other things. ANS
just cries foul because Cook seems to hit home.
His comments about costs going upwards are true. The TIME thing was way off
and I question the depth of backround given the comments.
Life goes on.
Gordon, I am leaving for more school in about two weeks. I will try to
answer your public & private questions on Com-Priv before then.
You wanted answers about Diamond Mine, NSR reports, DOE/Perot, Mead Data
and other things.
