The Dec 6 93 issue has several related articles -- one longish
one, "Pioneering the Electronic Frontier," (pp56-62) plus related stuff on
"how to access" etc., which includes a mention of Internet World
magzine and other fine resources (not 8/X a year as it says, it's
changing from 6/X to 10X/year RSN).
Amazingly, this article actually talks about things besides
Email and Usenet -- like international collaborative computing,
Big Sky Telegraph (see Internet World Nov/Dec 93 for a longer
interview with BST founder Frank Odasz), academic and research and
international and business uses... how refreshing to see an article
with a more comprehensive (and less trivializing/pandering/erroneous)
perspective.
FYI, at least one of the reporters at USN&WR is one the net, as
I've gotten e-mail from them; I ran into another recently at the
Library of Congress Press Day.
