I believe you are confusing USENET with the INTERNET. When I send Email to
another site on the INTERNET, it doesn't go thru anybody. And if you are
sending megabytes thru your USENET UUCP neighbors, you will probably find
yourself without a connection pretty quick. (Probably the third time you
overflow your neighbors spool directory.) A lot of USENET sites are real
shoestring operations on machines with very small disks.
All in all, I don't believe this will be a problem on the INTERNET.
