It is not "fiber to the home". The press release I read saidit is "fiber to the
neighborhood", in clusters of nearly 500 homes/subscribers, and then "coax to
the home".

Subject: what's behind PacBell's $16G fibre->home announcement?

If its more then just marketing hype, and they really do plan to have
the servce available (to 1 home) in 94 and 1million connections by (the
end of) 96, then one might hope that they have some sort of technology
and prodcut/pricing plan now. Anyone know anything about it?
