The only gigabit pipe you can buy today that I know of is the UltraBus,
from Ultra Network Systems of San Jose. We own one that we're not using
for networking, per se - it is connected to our Cray, and has a pair of
graphics frame buffers in it.

cisco Systems makes an interface that goes at 125Mbit/sec into it now,
and since the companies have announced a collaboration, I think it is
reasonable to assume that cisco has gigabit routers in their plans, if
not on the drawing board.
