The issue is not so much N-ISDN as compared to dial up modems but
to package a service. In this case ISDN would be attractive packaged
with Internet services of two reasons:
- is provides 64 kbps or in best case 2x64 for a reasonabel cost
- is the Bell company does things right, the cost for investment would
be low, no new wiring and minimal switching cost if the ISDN functions are
integrated into the phone switching equipment
The market is a bit uncertain, but given the above, I think they
shoudl be able to sell it to samll comanies and eventually for home
use to professionals.

I have a friend who's relatively close to the top of the Western Penns
ylvania
Bell (Bell of Pennsylvania / Bell Atlantic) hierarchy in terms of ISDN
decisions. Anyone have any questions / comments that I can forward to
him?
