If I understand my e-mail msgs right the NSF is going to allow
MCI "Unlimited and Un-restricted" re-sale access of the vBNS ?
Question to Steve W. NSF , Is the above true ?
Comment to Steve W. NSF , If this is true you have to be "Nuts".
If this makes you upset so be it. If the gov't intends to use this
network (vBNS) and allow a software-wall to seperate your paid for services
from the others MCI might carry, your all "nuts".
Technically Comp....I won't even begin to finish spelling the last word.
MCI is technically able to provide ATM services in a fast changing, high
tech environment ? Who is kidding who. This is an open chekbook policy ,
toward networking. Through enough cash at it and things will work. MCI
or Mighty Cute Inc. as I call them are about as technical on ATM as Donald
Duck is with Unix.
Research is one thing, making excuses for small gov't staff , old spec's
and now saying MCI is technically able to provide ATM and if its true
have full resale access to the "excess capacity" . The excess that could
come and go as the clients were available.
Comment to Steve W.
Mr. Wolf, I will stack up my technically abilities against yours and your
staff anyday of the week. You are making choices that effect us all based on
politics. Thats right Steve, my opinions again. You certainly know nothing
about ATM and the inner details of the switches. Certainly not enough to
comment to the NSF board that MCI is technically able to provide. If what
I hear is true - your just giving the same group a better deal and you wrote
a justification/position paper to the board to get MCI, that or the entire
board is stupid enough to buy into this deal without anything more than your
reports and comments.
Technically able - People give me a break.
