Hello, we at NYU are busy developing a Mosaic interface to the EDGAR
project which you may have read about (electronically submitted
corporate filings have been made available, for now via ftp to
town.hall.org).

The interface should have lots of interesting features to make your
use of the filings (such as 10-K's, 10-Q's, and many, many more
filings) more enjoyable. We will build it up incrementally.

The server should come up soon (waiting on some hardware)...in the
meantime, thanks to all who have come up with preliminary application
suggestions.

One intriguing idea, implementable via the Mosaic interface, is
'an interlocking board of directors' app: user clicks on the name of
one person, sitting on one particular board, and they get back
all of that person's other boards. Good for accountants!

Join the EDGAR discussion group if interested (ftp to town.hall.org
for info on how to do this) or send me comments directly.

Thanks,

Mark Ginsburg
