I just read Brock Meeks posting on the Clipper issue. I agree with the
entire post. Oh no, I said - I agree with someones entire post. In this
case yes. 

Brock, you are right when you said that a non clipper market would be
a big one. If a criminal is smart enough to use this type of an
encryption method, then they will be smart enough to avoid the device
in the first place. Many high tech. criminals have already used a
transportable satellite system  (made by Magnavox) to communicate via
the InmarsatMarine Satellite system. At $12.00 a min. they can get to the
satellites from anywhere in the world. Most are setup with scrambling equip.
The groups that operate at this level are not as stupid as the gov't claims.
Its just the gov't trying to justify what they are doing.

With the Clinton Admin. the best thing is to spend time figuring out what
they are really doing and just make and end run around them. Its what
many business people have done - seems wise. White House gets what the 
White House wants.

Don't even get me started on Viet Nam.
