I happened to be using show on the RS6k and noticed that one
of my messages was displayed without completely clearing text from the
previously displayed message. The same problem appeared if the
message was viewed with next.
I think that what happened was that the second message had
some lines that were too long for my xterm to display, the lines were
wrapped, and show didn't clear previous text from the screen between
the end of the wrapped line and the right edge of the screen.
