The message you got is partially correct, because people using mail
clients *other than* mh will lose their mail if they incorporate when
in a temporary home directory. We havn't changed it yet to be more
specific about this for several reasons: (a) we're not sure we want
the message to be even longer; (b) we're not sure exactly what it
should say; (c) we're not sure whether fixing the message is the right
answer (changing the other mail clients to have some sort of
-notruncate option might be more reasonable); and (d) no one has had
the time to investigate all the other things I've mentioned and make a
decision about it.
