What were you trying to do?
Parse the output of "machtype -d -v"
What's wrong:
On the various DS5000 platforms, it returns the strings followed
by a trailing space, ala "PMAG-DV " instead of "PMAG-DV".
What should have happened:
No trailing whitespace, or at least document it.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
The machtype man page is out of date w.r.t. the new DS
displays; it doesn't mention them at all.
