What were you trying to do?

What's wrong:
When lines wrap around and include tabs on the wraparound portion, emacs may believe	the cursor is in one place but show it in another. This paragraph is being typed in an 80 character wide X window, and the problem also occurs in 80 character wide xterms. Try typing in this paragraph as shown with a tab following "believe". Then, sometime while typing in the "the cursor is in one place but show it in another" segment of the text, do ctrl-b, and the cursor will jump by two characters. Ctrl-l will show the cursor in the correct place. Other control keys, text insertion, mouse pointing, and additional tabs on wrapped around lines, can make the problem even more pronounced.
