What were you trying to do?
use ez
What's wrong:
The little caret that marks the current point in the document
is invisible in reverse video (reverse video meaning...)
ez.ForegroundColor: White
ez.BackgroundColor: Black
in my ~/.preferences file
What should have happened:
You should be able to see the little caret so you know where
you're typing.
It behaves correctly in reverse video on a 7.4 RS/6000 and a 7.3
VS3100, and in regular black on white on a 7.4 VS3100 but behaves
incorrectly in reverse video on 7.4 VS3100's and 7.4 RT's.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
from ahelp->ez (the following implies that the caret should exist)
Inserting text at the caret. ... Notice that there is a small
black triangle in the upper left hand corner of the EZ window (at the
beginning of the document). This is the text caret, which marks your
current position in the document.
