mwm_user was not in the password file, but the entry is then:
mwm_usernope:xdmdC3ZizgcC6:19871:101:Mwm User,,,,:/mit/mwm_user:/bin/csh
rlogind invokes login as:
3029 p6 I 0:00 login -r KANGAROO.MIT.EDU HOME=/ PATH=/bin:/usr/ucb:/usr/bin
I have a theory as to the bug. I will try to find a fix....
The bug however may be in the rlogind itself in which case you are
screwed...
I believe in login.c in doremotelogin() the calls to getstr never zero
the structures. This can be embarssing... Not the rlogind on the vax an
and the DECstation is almost indentical and the problem is not on the
vax... I will investigate tonight...
