Hmm. On further investigation, detach -host *does* seem to work -- but
not for that particular server. [it's mounted "locked" according to
the mode column of attach run with no args, and it's in rel-eng rather
than athena, though I don't know as either of these matter since after
a detach -host it didn't even take my username off of the list of
those interested, in column 3...]
(The AFS server appears to be listed in the 6th field of the
attachtab as an IP address, possibly followed by a list of random (ie.
garbage) numbers, which confused me at first.)
