What were you trying to do?
Find out if my Zephyr user location information was made available
to unauthenticated users, if I set my exposure level to
net-visible or net-announced.
What's wrong:
The man page says "User location information is retained by
Zephyr and made available to any authenticated user who requests
such." It doesn't explicitly discuss the unauthenticated case,
which (empirically, at the present time) appears to be no
different.
What should have happened:
Perhaps the word "authenticated" should be removed from the
above sentence quoted from the man page. If necessary, mention
that authentication may be required, depending on the current
configuration of the local Zephyr servers.
