Hi. I was typing a nice long letter to a friend and it was pretty long. It
filled up maybe about 3/4 of the screen.

I was working on a VAX 3100 in the Hayden library. The xmh program is part of
my .startup file and the command for it is this...

	xmh -rv -geometry 508x736+0+10 &

After about 20 minutes, my drafts window and my xmh main window disappeared into
the infinite abyss of computer hell, never again to be seen, and dragging with it
my unsaved letter.

My console window appeared with this un-consoling message...

	14:22 Error: Cannot perform malloc

This has happened often, actually, only when I write long letters that take a
while to write, like over 20-30 minutes. Can you fix this? Thanks, and can you
tell me where I could get an axe?

Thanks for your help in this matter.

Ed Cho.
