on my vanilla 6,0C rtpc, i got a
panic: bad rmfree
unfortunately, SAVECORE=false on this vanilla machine,
so nothing to look at. next time, if there is a next
time, i'll get it. note that this occured at a time
when i was almost surely just about out of virtual
memory - about ten windows and the panic came during
a startup of scribe on a big file.
