As far as I can tell I've fixed this bug. The fix will go out in
6.0R. In the meantime, if people report this problem, fix the
attachtab by hand and suggest to the user that .login lines such as:
attach foo &
attach bar &
attach quux &
are no longer necessary, and that:
attach foo bar quux &
will do the same thing quicker and without attachtab lossage.
