What were you trying to do?
Preview a file.
What's wrong:
The message ``Preview window should appear soon.'' was displayed in the
mode line, but I never got a preview window.
The problem seems to be that /usr/andrew/bin was not in my $PATH
environment variable. Adding it will allow the previewing to happen.
What should have happened:
There should at least be a default hardcoded into the program. It
should not depend on the $PATH environment variable being set to include
/usr/andrew/bin, or any other directory. If it does not find the
program(s) necessary to preview a document, it should signal an error to
the user, to prevent him from waiting in vain.
