Using the standard .uwmrc (well, the standard one I received a year
ago) the "preference" menu obtained by hitting shift-meta-leftbutton
contains mostly non-working features. Bell loud and Bell normal
produce the same sound; Lock On and Lock Off cause a "usage" message
(apparently from xset) to appear in the login window. Mouse Normal,
Mouse Fast, and Mouse Slow don't have any measurable effect on the
mouse.
It appears that .uwmrc is using X11R1 mode setting features that are
incompatible with the X11R2 implementation.
I don't recall: was I told to pick up a new .uwmrc? Did we tell
users to do it?
