When a telnet connection is established and telnetd grabs a pty, it
should clear out the size information stored there. I've logged in to
tsx-11 (a vax running 7.3M) from dialup lines a couple of times with a
terminal type that only exists as a 24x80 terminal, and gotten random
numbers of lines that cause emacs to lose by trying to go off the end
of the screen.
