The ez dictionary (on the spell-checker) desperately needs work. It currently
does not recognize plurals of common words or the "-ed" forms of verbs. Also,
it interprets contractions as two seperate words, ie., "don" and "t". An
additional welcome change would be the ability to change font sizes directly to
the desired size, rather than cycling through the _larger_ and _smaller_
commands repeatedly.
I previously reported a bug in which ez underlined the entire end of a paper
I was working on , following an underline in a footnote. Using the _plainest_
command on the affected text made the main screen show no underline, and M-s
returned "no styles." However, preview and actual prints still contained the
underline. I was finally able to get rid of the problem by deleting the entire
footnote _plainest_ing all the affected text, and retyping the footnote,
carefully buffering the underlined portion from the main text. This was rather
awkward, and I think the style control sections of the program may need to be
looked into.
Sorry if this is not the proper address for ez suggestions. I ran across the
correct one in an ez help document, but I can't remember it or where it was.
This address was listed in the olc answers file.
