What were you trying to do?
quota -v
What's wrong:
I kept getting quotas for everything I had attached, except my
own locker. This happened yesterday and today (separate login
sessions). BUT now I'm getting my quota when I do quota -v. The things
I've done that may have affected the behavior of quota are:
fs lq .
and
attach lockers (both afs and nfs)
One of these two actions, or possibly something else that I'm not aware
of, seem to have woken up "quota" so that it finds out about my locker.
What should have happened:
I should have gotten my quota the first time I asked for it.
Other information:
I don't know what will happen if I use a different workstation,
or what will happen when I log in tomorrow.
Anne Salemme also was not getting quota information on her own
locker today, but Tom Palka was. Both have AFS home directories.
My locker is new as of this week; Anne's and Tom's aren't.
