What were you trying to do?
Read a man page in a nonstandard man directory. I didn't
remember the exact syntax, so I tried:
% /usr/athena/bin/man -M/afs/rel-eng/system/vax_bsd43/srvd/usr/man inetd
What's wrong:
% /usr/athena/bin/man -M/afs/rel-eng/system/vax_bsd43/srvd/usr/man inetd
Segmentation violation (core dumped)
What should have happened:
It should have printed a usage message, or some other text
suggesting that the argument string was incorrect. No core
file should have been produced.
