System name: boom
Type and version:	KN01 7.3P
Display type: PMAX-MFB

What were you trying to do?

telnet into boom as systest, a test account with an NFS home
directory on APHRODITE, which was down at the time.

What's wrong:

It was slow, so I closed the telnet connection. The following
bad attachtab resulted:

boom# cat /usr/tmp/attachtab
A1 0+AFS e40dev-sys localhost /afs/rel-eng.athena.mit.edu/system/@sys/srvd 18.72.1.52 0 /srvd 0 0 0 n
A1 0*--- systest ? ? 0.0.0.0 0 ? 0 13891 0 r

What should have happened:

It should not put an entry in attachtab if the home directory is
unavailable.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:

	login(1), attach(1)
