What were you trying to do?
Use zwgc.
What's wrong:
I keep getting error messages such as the one in the subject:
12:26 zwgc: Error in XParseColor on "+0-40": using default color
As far as I can tell, *every* discuss notification causes this, as
well as some other notices (I think login/logout notices do to).
Datapoint: I use $default on both discuss and login notices.
The geometry spec happens to be the geometry of my discuss
notifications. The relevent lines from my .Xresources are below. I
won't post my entire .zwgc.desc here, it is world readable.
This problem never occurred before 7.3. I suspect something in my
.zwgc.desc is causing it but have no idea what.
