What's wrong:
I got the error message 'not owner in menu_init'.
What should have happened:
I should have gotten access to the help facility.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
After the error message, the window does not echo anything
I type in, but it does carry out commands (e.g. it will not
show my command 'ls', but it will give me a listing).
Other windows function normally.
