Running xdsc here at CATS:
sh: /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/s/sao/scores/xdsc.log: No such file or directory
sh: /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/s/sao/scores/xdsc.log: No such file or directory
1. Programs in the release should not depend on files in developers'
home directories.
2. As per long-standing tradition, programs that are given to Athena
users to use should never log their use without telling the user
they are doing so. I do not recall ever being told that running
xdsc would cause my machine and time (which is apparently what is
being logged, from a quick glance at the source-code) to be logged.
Since I use a private workstation, that says something about *me*,
and is inappropriate.
The logging should be turned off. And references to sao's home
directory should be removed.
