There are various versions of the "foo" program, distributed by a number
of persons, after it entered the public domain due to a long and vicious
look-and-feel lawsuit betwenn the BSF (Bar Software Foundation) and QBM
(Quux Beer Manufacturers).
I have not been able to get any responses from any of the maintainers of
the various ``foo'' programs, and although some interesting versions
have been found in the Athena ``web'' locker in the past, they are not
complied for all of the Athena supported architectures and tend to be
unstable and poorly documented.
For these reasons, it is not likely that the "foo" software packages
will ever be supported by Athena releases in the near future.
Fortunately, you bug report does not seem to indicate any serious
user-visible flaws.
