1. fails to ignore areas inside .ig/.. pairs.
2. does not crush out entire .nr calls, only the .nr itself.
3. the version we are running is ACIS v9.0, but the man page is for
BSD v6.1, so we're missing the documentation to the -p, -k, -mm,
-ms, -me, -ma, and -ml flags. nb: the ACIS folks seem not to have
rewritten the man page, either.
